Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 19 September 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Transatron Ltd ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Transatron service (the "Service") accessible at transatron.io and its subdomains, including related APIs and integrations.
By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
BLU Tron is covered by its own BLU Tron Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Blockchain Data
When you use our Service to broadcast transactions, we process:
- Wallet addresses (TRON addresses you use with the Service);
- Transaction data (transaction signatures, amounts, recipient addresses, and related metadata);
- Balance information (TFN/TFU token balances associated with your address); and
- Transaction history (records of transactions processed through the Service).
Please note that blockchain transactions are inherently public. Once broadcast, transaction data is permanently recorded on the blockchain and is accessible to anyone.
1.2 Technical Data
We automatically collect certain technical information when you access the Service:
- Device information (device type, operating system, browser type and version);
- IP address and approximate geographic location;
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps, referring URLs); and
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5 below).
1.3 Account Information
If you register for a corporate account or contact us for support, we may collect:
- Contact information (email address, name, company name);
- Communication records (support tickets, correspondence); and
- Integration credentials (API keys issued to your account).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Service, including processing transactions, managing balances, and facilitating resource optimisation;
- Maintain and improve the Service, including monitoring performance, debugging issues, and developing new features;
- Communicate with you about the Service, respond to inquiries, and provide support;
- Ensure security, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access;
- Comply with legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests and enforcing our Terms of Service; and
- Analyse usage patterns to understand how the Service is used and improve user experience.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (UK/EEA Users)
If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, our legal bases for processing your personal data include:
- Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the Service you requested;
- Legitimate interests: Processing for our legitimate business purposes (security, fraud prevention, service improvement) where not overridden by your rights;
- Legal compliance: Processing required to comply with applicable laws; and
- Consent: Where you have given consent for specific processing activities.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: With trusted third parties who assist us in operating the Service (hosting providers, analytics services, support tools), subject to confidentiality obligations;
- Blockchain networks: Transaction data is broadcast to the TRON blockchain (and other supported networks) as an inherent part of the Service;
- Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
- Protection of rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Transatron Ltd, our users, or the public;
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections; and
- With your consent: When you have given us permission to share information.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain session state and remember your preferences;
- Analyse how the Service is used;
- Measure the effectiveness of our communications; and
- Provide a secure experience.
We may use analytics services to help us understand usage patterns. These services may collect information about your use of the Service and other websites over time.
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.
5.1 Cookies, browser storage and your choices
Plausible (Plausible Insights OÜ, EU) gives us aggregate visit statistics without cookies and without storing anything in your browser. It runs by default; you can switch it off in Cookie settings.
Mixpanel (Mixpanel, Inc., United States) is a product analytics service. We load it only if you click "Accept analytics". It stores an identifier in your browser so we can understand how the site is used across visits and improve it. On the Transfer Edge page it may link visits to the wallet address you connect. Mixpanel processes this data in the United States. If you choose "Necessary only", Mixpanel is not loaded.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
tt_consent (browser storage) | Transatron | Remembers your cookie choice. Strictly necessary. | 12 months, then we ask again |
mp_*_mixpanel, __mp* (browser storage) | Mixpanel, Inc. (US) | Analytics identifier and events waiting to be sent. Only if you accept. | Until you withdraw consent or clear your browser |
| None | Plausible Insights OÜ (EU) | Cookieless, aggregate visit statistics | Nothing is stored in your browser |
transatron_wallet_mode, transatron_ledger_address, transatron_ledger_index, tronAdapterName and WalletConnect keys (browser storage) | Transatron, wallet providers | Keep your wallet connected on the Transfer Edge page, only when you connect a wallet. Strictly necessary. | Until you disconnect or clear your browser |
Changing your choice. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer at any time. There you can accept or decline Mixpanel and switch Plausible on or off. Withdrawing consent stops Mixpanel and deletes the data it stored in your browser.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods depend on the type of data and the purposes for which it is processed.
Transaction data broadcast to the blockchain is permanent and cannot be deleted, as this is inherent to blockchain technology.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:
- Data encryption in transit and at rest;
- Access controls and authentication mechanisms;
- Regular security assessments and monitoring;
- Secure infrastructure and network protections.
However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet credentials and private keys.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Erasure: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements;
- Restriction: Request that we limit the processing of your information;
- Portability: Request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests; and
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at company@transatron.io. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Please note that certain data, particularly blockchain transaction data, cannot be modified or deleted due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology.
9. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom. If you access the Service from outside the UK, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the UK or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as wallets and exchanges). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page;
- Post the updated Privacy Policy at https://transatron.io/privacy-policy; and
- Where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
